Bright, herby, and quietly nourishing — this is the kind of lunch that feels effortless but looks considered. ỌBÀ'S BLEND, with its fresh herb and citrus character, lifts the grains and plays beautifully against the cool, buttery creaminess of a perfectly ripe avocado.

Ingredients
- 150g cooked farro, freekeh, or brown rice (warm or at room temperature)
- 2 tbsp ỌBÀ'S BLEND, plus extra to finish
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large, ripe avocado, halved, stoned, and sliced
- A squeeze of fresh lemon juice
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1–2 seeded or wholegrain bagels, halved and lightly toasted
- A few leaves of baby spinach or rocket (optional)
Method
- In a bowl, toss the warm grains with ỌBÀ'S BLEND and olive oil until every grain is evenly coated. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Slice the avocado and toss gently with a squeeze of lemon juice to keep it bright.
- Toast the bagels until just golden. If using, lay a few leaves of spinach or rocket on the base.
- Spoon the dressed grains generously onto the bagel base, then layer over the avocado slices in an overlapping fan. Crown with the top half and press gently to hold.
Serving Suggestion
A drizzle of extra ỌBÀ'S BLEND over the finished bagel takes it to another level. Serve with a light cucumber and mint salad, or simply a cold glass of sparkling water.
